主含脂溶性的二萜類成分和水溶性的酚酸成分，還含黃酮類，三萜類，甾醇等其他成分。脂溶性成分中，屬醌、酮型結構的有：丹參酮（tanshinone)Ⅰ、ⅡA、ⅡB[1，2]、Ⅴ、Ⅵ[2]，隱丹參酮（cryptotanshinone)，異丹參酮（isotanshinone)Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅱ，異隱丹參酮（isocryptotanshi-none)[3]，羥基丹參酮（hydroxytanshinone)ⅡA，丹參酸甲酸（methyl tanshinonate)[1]，丹參新醌（dan-shexinkum)A、B、C、D，二氫異丹參酮（dihydroi-sotanshinone)Ⅰ，新隱丹參酮（neocryptotanshinone)，去羥新隱丹參酮（deoxyneocryptotanshinone)[8]，代號為Ro-090680的2-異丙基-8-甲基菲-3，4-二酮（2-isopropyl-8-methylphenanthrene-3,4-dione)[9]，去甲丹參酮（nortanshinone)，丹參二醇（tanshindiol)A、B、C，丹參新酮（miltirone），1-氫丹參新酮（1-dehy-dromiltirone)，1-氫丹參酮（1-dehydrotanshinone)ⅡA，1-氫代異隱丹參酮（1-detoisocryptotanshinone)，3α-羥基丹參酮（3α-hy-droxytanshinone)ⅡA，1，2-二氫丹參醌（1,2-dihydrotan-shinqiunone)，醛基丹參酮（formyltanshinenone)，亞甲二氫丹參酮（methylenedihydrotanshinone)，7β-羥基-8，13-松香二烯-11，12-二酮（7β-hydroxy-8-13-abietadiene-11，12-dione)，1，2，5，6-四氫丹參酮（1,2,5,6-teTCMLIBahydrotanshinone)Ⅰ，4-亞甲丹參新酮（4-methylenemiltirone)，丹參內酯（tanshinlactone)，二氫丹參內酯（dihydrotanshinlactone)，丹參螺縮酮內酯（danshen-spiroketallactone)，表丹參螺縮酮內酯（epidanshenspiroketallac-tone)，丹參螺縮酮內酯Ⅱ，就是丹參隱螺內酯（cryptoac-etalide)，鼠尾草酮（miltiodiol)。丹參環庚三烯酚酮（miltipolone）等；屬其他類型結構的有：降鼠尾草氧化物（nor-salvioxide)，彌羅松酚（ferruginol)，鼠尾草酚（salviol)，柳杉酚（sugiol)等。水溶性的酚性酸化合物有：丹參酸（sal-vianic acid)A、B、C，丹參酸A又稱丹參素，其結構為D（+）-β-（3，4-二羥基苯基）乳酸[D（+）-β-（3，4-dihydroxyphenyl)lactic acid]，丹參酸B是由3分子的丹參素和1分子的咖啡酸（caffeic acid)縮合形成的，就是丹參酚酸B；丹參酸C是2分子丹參素的縮合物；丹參酚酸（salvianolic acid)A、B、C、D、E、G；迷迭香酸（rosmarinic acid)，迷迭香酸甲酯（methyl rosmarinate)，紫草酸單甲酯（monomethyl lithospermater)，紫草酸二甲酯（dimethyl lithospermate)，紫草酸乙酯（ethy lithospermate)，紫草酸（lithospermic acid)B，原兒茶醛（protocaterchualdehyde)，咖啡酸，異阿魏酸（isoferulic acid)等。還含黃苓甙（baicalin)，異歐前胡內酯（isomperatorin)，熊果酸（ursolic acid)，β-谷甾醇（β-stiosterol)，胡蘿卜甙（daucosterol)[35]，5-（3-羥丙基）-7-甲氧基-2-（3-甲氧基-4-羥苯基）-3-苯并[b]呋喃甲醛[5（3-hydroxypropyl)-7-methoxy-2-(3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphe-nyl)-3-benzo[b]furancarbaldehyde]，替靠皂甙元（tigo-genin)，豆甾醇（stigmasterol)等。
